1st Annual Celebrity Golf Classic

Located at TPC Wakefield Plantation, Raleigh, NC,
The
Staff and Board of Directors of Second Chance CDC are excited about its
1st Annual Celebrity Golf Tournament Fundraising Event on April 12,
2010. Contributions will provide the organization with operational
funds that will be used to fund our various programs such as our food
bank, which provides assistance to families that don’t qualify through
our local Department of Family and Children services; our financial
literacy, housing literacy and modifications programs.
Another
program dear to our heart is our “Rising Out" Of The Ashes Project,
this program aids in helping those in our community that battle with
drug and alcohol addiction. We will also provide vocational training
programs to the citizens of the Wake, Durham, and Vance County.
There
are many sponsorship opportunities available, and we are encouraging
businesses in our area to partner with us to make our 1st annual
tournament a huge success, while helping assist those in need in our
community.

The
format is a 4 man team at $700.00 per team, ($175 per person,
individuals can play) which includes Morning Shotgun at 10:00 am,
breakfast at the start of registration in our Williamsburg Ballroom and
boxed lunches preset on the carts prior to shotgun. Also, a golf cart
will be provided for each team along with Wakefield’s trained Beverage
cart staff providing all beverages. There will be a Hors D’oeuvres
Award’s Reception after golf.
